Inspiration
Just got knocked by an inspiration to write this story. This is dedicated to everybody going through a bad patch.. Hang On!!! Things are gonna get better!!
Many a times, one may find oneself in a bad patch. From this, I believe many people would say that Life is always full of Ups and Downs. True, Life always have its high peak and low peaks, life is never a monotonous journey.
*LIFE IS NOT ONLY FULL OF DOWNS, BUT UPS TOO*
However, The point that I waana bring to everybody out here is that Dun be disheartened! GOD is with ya through it all. I have this thinking just wanna share it with ya. Be happy when u reach the really bottom time of yr life, cos everythingthat happens after that can only go up and not down anymore. Same with a tennis ball thrown into a pit, once it hits the ground it doesn't go deeper but bounces back.. therefore life after that ultimate "down" of your life can only get better and not worst.
*TIME*
Often, we pray for things and hope that the request would be delivered soon. However, what we have failed to realise is that GOD does things in HIS time not ours. There is a song entitled "In His time"
The lyrics are as follow

HE makes all things beautiful in His time*
I too often failed to hang on, and give up hope, when my request was not answer during the timeframe when i expected GOD to provide an answer. But when u least expect, that is when GOD would drop the soln. Sometimes , after receivieng the soln unexpectedly, i blame myself 4 impatience and lack of faith. That's why i believe Everything happens for a reason.
*Everything happens for a reason*
Looking back at the past, i realised events often happen to help us to "grow" or learn a particular lesson in life. And it is through such events that we are prepared for further ardous journey ahead.
A story to share...
Once there was this travellor travelling across the dessert, he was very very very thirsty, so he walked and walked in search of water to quench his thirst. Upon walking he noticed a shop in the middle of the dessert, happily he went forward to the shop, so he asked the shopkeeper,
"Sir, Do you sell water? I am in need of water."
The shopkeeper shook his head and replied," We only sell ties over here."
the travellor on hearing this was mad and furious, he was like wat??!! you open yr shop in the middle of a dessert just to sell ties??!! thus he was grumbling, and very irritated no choice he continued on for his search of water.
After a long distance of walk, He saw a beautiful palace, he thought to himself, Surely such a big palace would have water to spare... He ran excitedly to the palace and was stop by the guards.
"Sirs, can you please let me into the palace, I want to get some water i am very thirsty."
the guards replied"Sorry Sir, only people with TIES are allowed in." He knelt down and regretted...
Dear frenzs, from this story one can see the connection between life's journey, you would always have to pass by "certain shops" - (refers to our obstacles met in life. ) to be equipped with items required for the subsequent journey. Thus, all the events that happen in the midst of our life whether good or bad, is a training ground for us to gain something to be able to handle what is gonna happen in future.
*GOD knows our limits and would only give us what we can handle and not more that wat we cannot handle.*
GOD made us and knows us through like the back of his hands, HE sees everything, the future and knows what would the consequences would be if something is given to you at the time u requested. Thus, sometimes we may wait for a certain time b4 we receive the soln, its not that GOD wants to play a trick on us, but bcos HE sees everything and he knows what is going to happen if he gives you the thing now, and a few months later.
For example, From early sec days i have been praying or a bf, but i prayed for a every long time and yet i was not attached till recently when i found my dear. I fully understand why is it only now that i am attached. I need to go through my obstacles and he his obstacles to gain the lessons we need to know to overcome the problems that we might face later and cherish each other more.
